The Spur Hotel dates back to the 17th century. It is a grade II listed building set in the heart of National Trust walking land in an area of outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the South Downs. The hotel is of interest for its historical and architectural features.
The Spur is a traditional family owned establishment with log fires that has been refurbished in recent years. It has its own skittle alley and a restaurant.
